Edge Heating Systems
Inductotherm has developed and patented a new type of Edge Heating System─UNIEDGE™─which uses an inductor that automatically adjusts to a change of strip dimensions without any movement.
Features
Edge Heating Systems are designed to be added below the galvanneal heating assembly. The UNIEDGE™ Heating System supplies additional heat to the edges of the strip which homogenizes strip temperature prior to galvannealing. Other advantages include:
- Accommodates varying strip width without mechanical adjustment
- Includes proprietary preassembled design for the UNIEDGE™ induction edge heater which minimizes installation and commissioning time
